Saddle Creek Music Video Competition
 The Hot Shops Film Festival would like to thank Saddle Creek Records for a great new opportunity. This year festival participants will get the chance to create their own music videos for two new songs on the Saddle Creek label! The songs are available to download for FREE, exclusively on our web site...just right-click (or option-click) on the MP3 links to the right to save them to your hard drive. They are “Kiss the Wake” by Criteria, a rock group started by Stephen Pedersen, a former Duke law student and Kutak Rock lawyer, with a passion for music, and “Leave It All” by Orenda Fink, best known for her work with Azure Ray, this the first song on her debut solo album Invisible Ones. Both Invisible Ones, and Criteria's new album "When We Break" were released August 23rd on Saddle Creek.
 The first place winner will have their video on the Saddle Creek web site, www.saddle-creek.com, as well as the artists' sites, and the Hot Shops Film Festival website. Exciting prizes for first, second and third place entries will be announced at a later date. All age groups will be competing against each other for this portion of the Film Festival. All entries will be judged by Hot Shops, Saddle Creek, and recording artists. Only one entry per song, per applicant will be accepted. Applicants must be advised that there will be separate entry fees (50 bucks) for each song if you choose a video for both.
The deadline for entries is December 31st, 2005. The winning filmmakers will be announced and winning videos screened at the Hot Shops Film Festival Awards Ceremony in March 2006.
