Artist Bio:
Carol Ann Markel has been an art student for nearly her entire life. She comes from a very artistic family. Joining the artists in the Hot Shops fulfills a dream that she has had for many years. Her working career has been extremely varied and has included everything from making Halloween costumes and painting eyes for a taxidermist to working as a dental assistant and a nursing home social worker. This is her first venture as a professional artist. She specializes in watercolor but also works in oil and mixed media, including photography.
