Artist Bio:
Roxanne Mullins holds Art History and Studio Art Degrees from Doane College, Crete, Nebraska. She is a native Nebraskan and has been doing art most of her life. She uses oil and mixed media to express her love of nature and color. Roxanne has had work accepted in numerous Regional Juried shows.

Artist Statement:
I want to portray the world the way I see it. I love the colors, freshness, and spiritual beauty of nature. I am moved to paint these things so that others will notice the world around them amidst the work, worry, and chao of life. There is plenty of misery in our world; I choose to focus on the abundance of beauty that surrounds us. In our rush through life, we often fail to notice the backyard garden, the poppies by the roadside, the sunlight on the grass.
