The annual event will be held on the last weekend of April. Most all of the Hot Shops artists will have their doors open, with several demonstrations held throughout the building. It's positively the best time to see the Hot Shops Art Center. For more info, please visit our Open House page.

What is the Hot Shops?
There are four anchor studios, Bruning Sculpture, Hot Shops Pottery, CK Fabrication, and Crystal Forge, that make up the very heart of the Hot Shops, with the molten nature of their work giving it its “hot” name. The Hot Shops Art Center also hosts over 80 studio artists, as well as multiple gallery spaces, in our building complex located in downtown Omaha, one block north of TD Ameritrade Ballpark on 13th Street, between Izard and Nicholas. For complete information, please follow the General Info link.
Our main, largest gallery, located striaght ahead from the main entrance. It features a unique bar area customized by the artisan of the forges for events and openings.
Loacated on the north side of the building, the 1301 Gallery's narrow space is tucked away behind the hallway gallery.
Like the name implies, the Hallway Gallery is the hallway that sits between the Nicholas St and 1301 Galleries. It is also access to the rest of the main floor and core shops.
