 The Hot Shops Art Center
Bruning Sculpture, Loken Forge, and Crystal Forge make up the very heart of the Hot Shops Art Center, with the nature of their work giving it its "hot" name. We also house over 80 studio artists, as well as four gallery spaces, in our building complex located in downtown Omaha, just north of the new Qwest Center Omaha.  Liquid Arts Festival
July, 4th 4-10 pm
Gentlemen, start your brewing! Hot Shops Art Center is looking for a few good brews. We are holding a home brew competition in the summer, so start to brewing your beer, wine, or cider and bring it on down the day before the event.
Judging starts at 5 pm on Saturday, July 4th, 2008.

Construction News
Remember, Cuming Street is closed from 20th to 24th Streets for storm sewer renovation (Burt Street is also closed). In the meantime, jump 2 blocks north to Nicholas Street, and simply head east to 13th Street and the Hot Shops. Buckle up! |

 Workshops & Art Classes
A wide range of workshops and art classes take place at the Hot Shops Art Center on a continuing basis, ranging from blacksmithing and glassblowing, to drawing and painting. Offered from groups to individuals these classes are a great way to flex the creative side of you brain.

Hot Shops Open House
First weekend of May and December
One of our biggest events of the year, the Hot Shops Open House features informative art demonstrations and live music--numerous artists have their studio doors open to the public. Live music, informative demos, cool art, dense location-- a genuine good time.
Our next open house will be December
5th & 6th, 2009
