Hot Shops Art Center's 9th Annual
Spring Open House
First weekend of May
Our biggest event of the year, the Hot Shops Open House features informative art demonstrations and live music, plus, most of the Hot Shops artists have their studio doors open to the public! Live music, informative demos, cool art, dense location -- a genuine good time.
Saturday, May 1st and Sunday, May 2nd, 2010.

 The Hot Shops Art Center
Bruning Sculpture, Loken Forge, and Crystal Forge make up the very heart of the Hot Shops Art Center, with the molten nature of their work giving it its "hot" name. We also house over 80 studio artists, as well as four gallery spaces, in our building complex located in downtown Omaha, just north of the new Qwest Center Omaha at the corner of 13th and Nicholas.  Workshops & Art Classes
A wide range of workshops and art classes take place at the Hot Shops Art Center on a continuing basis, ranging from blacksmithing and glassblowing, to drawing and painting. Offered from groups to individuals these classes are a great way to flex the creative side of you brain.
